Miranda comes with experience as a veterinary emergency triage nurse from Angell Animal Medical Center’s former sister hospital in Springfield. Her calm and friendly demeanor are an asset at BVH and appreciated by our clients.
She has always found much happiness and peace from being with animals. While in high school, in the hopes of caring for animals professionally, she started working at the veterinary hospital in her hometown. After working as a veterinary technician through college, she earned a B.S. in Animal Science: Pre-Veterinary Medicine at the University of New Hampshire. She continued to work in veterinary medicine at two other hospitals.
After getting married and spending a wonderful season of being home with her four children, Miranda is incredibly thankful to be returning to the veterinary field where she strives to care for both pets and their owners as a part of the team at BVH.
When she is not working, Miranda loves spending time with her family and menagerie of pets, horseback riding, hiking, gardening and curling up with a good book.
